Over at Smogon, Round 5 of OU Suspect Testing has finally started up again, with a predicted ending date of September 18th. As usual, the required rating for voting is 1450.
Thundurus is not nearly as big of a problem as weather abusers. I feel like smogon's priorities are out of whack. A bad player abusing weather can beat a great player using Thundurus.
Am i the only one that likes this metagame? Contrary to popular belief, this metagame promotes creative team building, sets and cores. Teams are incredibly predictable now a days but the top players in the ladder are either using something a little different from everyone else, are something completely different. I honestly don't feel the need for thundurus to be banned but i also wouldnt mind seeing it go.
Ha! I'm using the same rain team as everyone and I'm number 9 on smogon ladder on PO. When I play a sandstorm, I already know what I need to do (keep toad alive). When I play sun (rarely), I know what I need to do. When I play non-weather, I basically have an insta-win. The metagame is stagnant right now and boring. I've tried UU, but it just doesn't seem to have the competitive edge of OU. Plus, I suck at UU.

OU needs to be about 20% cooler.
